A Better LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence and hopelessness in our inner-cities. Founded by Pete Carroll, it invests in and empowers residents to build up their own communities from within. A Better LA has brought together ex-gang members, the business community, law enforcement and other government agencies to work together for the first time to stop violence as a crucial first step in its mission.
